Public health
Follow NZ Government public health guidance. If you have flu-like symptoms, stay home.

Licence
The driver must hold a class 1 or 1R New Zealand driver licence and drive under those licence conditions.

Smoking
No smoking in the forest at any time.

Headlights
Vehicle headlights must be on at all times during entry and exit and while driving around the Woodhill Forest venue.

Alcohol
No alcohol is permitted at any time. Anyone suspected of having alcohol in their vehicle will be removed immediately.

Insurance, WOF and registration
The vehicle must have a current WOF and registration. Insurance companies may not cover this type of activity. Confirm with your insurer in writing before you come. It is solely the patron's responsibility.

Safety belts
Safety belts must be worn at all times by the driver and all passengers.

Animals
No animals, pets or dogs in a vehicle or on foot.

Firearms and fires
No fires in the forest. No firearm to be carried in the vehicle.

Routes and cargo
Do not deviate from designated routes. All cargo must be strapped down. Trail conditions change with weather, forestry debris and erosion. Inexperienced and advanced drivers may appear without warning. Keep left.

Speed and boundaries
Speed limit is not to exceed 40kph, and often slower to match conditions. Stay within the 4WD park boundary and only cross forestry roads at designated crossings. Follow directional arrows. Do not enter forestry operational areas.

Gravel and trees
No skids or donuts in gravel areas, carparks or gravel forestry roads. Damage is charged and the driver or owner banned. Incorrect winching or driving that damages a tree is payable by that person.

Media
By entering you grant Auckland Off Road Adventure the right to use photographs or video of you, your vehicle and people with you for editorial, trade and advertising. Personal use of your own photos is fine; commercial publication needs prior written permission.
